Telekomunikacja Polska is the national telecoms carrier of Poland and is a subsidiary of France Telecom (FT). TP’s legacy finance operating model was fragmented and consisted of over 30 finance centres using a number of ageing financial systems. As a key component of FT’s global finance programme, TP was selected to develop a shared services operating model and single instance Oracle ERP solution which would become the blueprint for FT’s global finance model. We were contracted to provide an Interim Oracle Programme Director to refine the business case and subsequently launch and deliver the programme. He reported to both the TP CFO in Warsaw and FT’s global steering group in Paris. We then supplied a further 4 contractors to deliver QA and implementation services over a 3 year period. The team was based in Lublin Poland.
