Business Analysis
Good BA’s can make the difference between success and failure when implementing a finance system.
Business Analysts should have an inquisitive mind, superb communications, and a logical methodical approach, as they are required to analyse and interpret your existing processes, systems and ways of doing things. At the discovery phase they will interview users and run workshops to understand clearly how financial processes and workflows are established across your business. They will document your ‘as-is’ environment and use this to input critical detail in to the design of your new, improved and standardised processes and systems.
Often BA’s will blend extensive practical functional or operational experience of a process domain such as P2P or O2C with a detailed understanding of the configuration of a specific application such as Agresso, Oracle or SAP. Often called Business Process Owners, they are an active ingredient in engaging your grass roots employees with an implementation project and they can play a critical role in ensuring your staff embrace change.
The recruitment of contract and permanent Business Analysts has been an intrinsic component of our service line since 1997 and during this time we have interviewed hundreds of candidates for assignments and roles across all flavours of Finance Systems, EPM and Transformation programmes.
