Job Description: Head of SAP Applications Management / Support Manager is required on an interim basis by my client to lead and manage their SAP support organisation. Applicants must have significant, proven experience of running an SAP support / service delivery organisation with both onshore and offshore staff to provide an efficient and effective response to user support, technical support, BASIS support and training; servicing a sophisticated global "multi-business unit" user community. The candidate must have experience of SAP and have extensive experience of running SAP finance helpdesk environments and exposure to Payroll and HR systems. Must have experience of recruiting and managing large teams (40+) of support staff in an SAP environment and managing a multi-million pound budget. Training design and delivery will be part of this teams remit and as such understanding of this area and financial process and procedures as well as process mapping within SAP. Ideally you will be a Qualified Accountant or MBA and hold ITIL or SAP qualification. You will have hands-on experience of maintenance and enhancement of a SAP production environment and have lead at least 1 full design -build - test - deploy support cycle.
