Job Description:
Financial Systems Project Manager is required to work across the business to ensure the successful delivery of a single instance finance ledger solution. The organisation is currently migrating from several legacy General Ledgers onto a group finance template. The incumbent will be tasked with the project governance and project management of the build and testing phases to ensure successful go live delivery. Working closely with the subject matter experts and the end user community, you will need to communicate and document project objectives / milestones to the steering committee; while ensuring that potential risks facing the project are mitigated. Delivering the finance change to the business and it's impact on the finance systems architecture and finance processes is also a crucial mandate. Candidates will ideally be part or fully qualified accountants with a proven track record of delivering successful full life cycle finance systems implementations on technologies such as Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, CODA, Agresso, Dynamics AX/GP/NAV, SunSystems. You must also be a strong communicator with the right personality and gravitas to engage with users and sponsors to ensure buy-in and influence key stakeholders.
