Job Description:
Oracle Finance Business Analyst is required to take a functional lead on a number of process improvement initiatives focussed around for this global organisation. The post-holder will liaise with business and finance users in order to ensure the requirements are met throughout the design and development of processes related to Oracle Financials and wider business systems. This will entail utilising tools throughout functional design including Oracle AIM, Toad and SQL. The Business Analyst will also co-ordinate with IT Development and Database teams throughout the development process and problem resolution.
Candidates will require very strong functional experience with Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA, etc.) including experience of taking a functional lead on complex projects. As such, project management experience is highly desirable. Furthermore, the successful candidate will require excellent knowledge of business processes, and will have an excellent analytical and problem-solving skill-set. A solid Finance background is also desirable (Part Qualified Accountant, QBE).
