Sage UK enters upper mid market with launch of Sage ERP X3

18th October 2009

Business software and services provider Sage (UK) Limited has announced the UK launch of Sage ERP X3, its global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. Already proven in 38 countries Sage ERP X3 is being positioned by the company as the ideal platform for growing global organisations to increase collaboration and improve business insight.

“As many of our UK customers increasingly expand their international footprint, Sage has the understanding and expertise to help them avoid making costly, cumbersome and complex investments. That is why we have brought our leading and cost effective international ERP solution to the UK market,” explained Jim Scott, General Manager, Sage’s Enterprise Business. “Unlike many enterprise software providers that have scaled down their technology for the mid-market, Sage ERP X3 was developed for the mid-market from day one and is already used by more than 70,000 users across the globe in 2,500 companies, such as Fiat or Saint-Gobain Semiconductor.”

Requiring as little as 35-55 days to implement, Sage ERP X3 already supports the relevant languages, currencies and legislation of 38 countries and has been designed for rapid user adoption and a low total cost of ownership. With the freedom to choose a desktop or web user interface and its global functionality in finance, sales, CRM, inventory management, purchasing and manufacturing, Sage ERP X3 is easy to integrate with desktop and cloud-based productivity applications and services.

“We have more than 28 years heritage, global scale, local support and expert consultancy, so our customers know that we future-proof their investments and can evolve to meet their needs over time,” added Sage’s Jim Scott. “Already, we have several of Sage UK’s Enterprise Business Partners on board to help us meet the growing demand for Sage ERP X3 across the country.”
