Qlikview experiences 45% growth rate in the past year

4 October 2011

Qliktech (the makers of the Qlikview product) have announced a 45% jump in sales of Qilkview over the last year.Since the company had its Nasdaq IPO in July 2010, there has been strong take up for its offering of a set of integrated BI tools designed to create highly interactive applications, dashboards and reports. One of its strengths is that it can combine data from disparate sources, at a low cost, another advantage is it's user-driven approach to BI. Analysts have remarked on QlikView's user-driven approach to BI, which focuses on ease-of-use for both IT professionals and non-technical users. The suite also differentiates itself from other BI platforms by being wholly based on an in-memory data store. By utilising in-memory, as opposed to traditional disk storage, the BI application can refresh data in real time to support operational BI environments such as monitoring financial transactions. A further strength is its ability to combine data from disparate sources, including Oracle, SAP, Salesforce.com, SQL Server and Excel

So, what do we do?

We are the UK’s leading finance systems recruitment company.

Unlike the vast majority of recruitment companies we are not built on a sales culture. We are wholly service and solutions focused. In fact in many instances our services are more akin to a hybrid mix of recruitment and consultancy.

This is because the vast majority of finance systems work is project related, such as upgrade and development initiatives. Indeed the replacement or implementation of new finance systems, ERP or BI tools will normally be driven by a business need for operational improvements and by definition change. Such change projects typically incorporate process standardisation / automation, shared services creation, or MI transformation such as data governance implementation and enterprise BI architecture.

Testimonials

  • Systems Accountants first worked for me on a Hyperion Enterprise role in 2000, when they successfully placed a candidate in my team.   Since then they have consistently presented me with good quality candidates and in competition with other agencies were more successful in placing people in my teams than any other agency.   They understand the Business intelligence market which means I can expect sensible feedback on what people will cost, they screen candidates properly, and they ask a lot of questions about the job spec and the person spec.  This means that the shortlist of people they recommend for a role, are people who are suitable for the role.   In addition to using them as an agency I have and continue to recommend this agency to friends when they are looking for work.
