SystemsAccountants conducts both search and contingency assignments in the £30,000 to £200,000 salary range. Our processes are based on proven, exhaustive search and selection methodologies. This will involve advising on and executing the most appropriate method of identifying candidates. Our dedication to a niche market has ensured that during the last 10 years our recruitment team has interviewed literally thousands of finance systems & transformation specialists on behalf of clients with requirements throughout the world. Not only have we worked for end user companies, but also for the software vendors and management consultancies as well, giving us a unique insight into their internal mechanics and the resource they are likely to deploy into end user companies.

Over the years we have developed a unique database of over 12,000 financial & business systems professionals. A significant proportion of these have either been placed in permanent appointments or have undertaken contract assignments for us. This enables us to add significant value to the recruitment process as we are able to inject personal insight and reference-based judgement when advising on or promoting the relevance of a candidate.

We have attracted these candidates and continue to attract new ones through the use of a variety of media and marketing tools. This encompasses the use of internet job boards (e.g. we are currently active advertisers on no less than 5 of the most popular job boards in the UK), web banner advertising, key word sponsorship on major search engines such as Google, and the continued promotion of our own website which now attracts an average of over 25,000 unique visitors per month. Our own email job alert service has over 4,000 subscribers which allows us to communicate with a community of specialist, relevant, active and passive jobseekers.

The SystemsAccountants brand name is widely promoted in offline publications such as Financial Director, Finance Week, the Financial Times and the Accountancy Institutes magazines.

We also undertake branded and non-branded advertising on behalf of clients which also generates large responses of candidates as a by product of short listing processes.

Another key source of candidates is through referrals from both clients and candidates. This network is very powerful and now produces hundreds of new candidates per annum. We operate a referral service through our website and this is also extended to clients who wish to liaise with peers on financial & business systems related issues.

We also seek to attract contractors from overseas as appropriate and this is done through international job boards and our proliferating network.

We maintain a sophisticated marketing database which contains details of over 15000 organisations in the UK, segmented by scale, industry sector and most importantly the financial & business systems they use. As such we are able to advise on the number of companies and thus the potential number of candidates with relevant applications skills within a radius of a client's geographic base. This can be invaluable intelligence when seeking rare skills. Due to the knowledge pool we have developed across the business we are able to provide guidance on skills which would be more readily transferable to a rare or new technology skill and thus open up the potential candidate base for such a position.
