Anaplan Model Builder

Exciting new opportunity to join a large international company as they continue to build out their Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) team which is mainly focused on Anaplan as the core product.

They have recently implemented Anaplan within the group and are now seeking a permanent Anaplan Model Builder to help manage the system and ongoing project to roll-out the tool across the business.

You will work closely with the Head of this department and Anaplan Solution Architect which will provide fantastic opportunities to learn and develop your functional and technical skills around Anaplan and the wider finance systems landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Build, develop, document and maintain accurate reports, models, workflows to support the finance team
• Maintain and facilitate the effective performance of Anaplan
• Assist in the preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reporting
• Keep up to date with current technical requirements and industry trends
• Train users and super users on best practice
• Analyse new requirements and change requests
• Support the external consultants on projects and ad hoc tasks
• Move from spreadsheets to multi-dimensional technologies (Anaplan and some SAP BW)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, controlling or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in financial systems consulting, systems administration or a financial reporting role
• Must have Anaplan expertise, ideally certified and proven development expertise
• Highly independent, but still able to communicate and work effectively in a team setting
• Strong communication, presentation (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills

As the team grows this position will assume more ownership of the Anaplan solution and possibly broaden out into new projects across other systems such as new ERP projects. Within a smaller, more dynamic company like this you will have a real helicopter view of the finance department and have significant interaction with senior stakeholders to elevate your skills.
