EPM Consultant – Financial Planning

My client an international software houses seeks a Enterprise Performance Managerment (EPM) Consultant to join their growing team and drive their continued expansion across the Asia region. The position will focus on delivering best in class Budgeting, Planning, & Forecasting solutions for clients across the Asian market.

You will act as the key delivery point for clients, ensuring smooth implementation and development of the FPM product. In the role, you will work closely with senior management to understand their needs to do develop their vision in the technology. Being a highly project focused role, this will suit those coming from a consulting background from a partner, Big4 consulting firm, or other software house.

The role will challenge you to bridge the gap between Business and IT, requiring technical configuration skills as well as the consulting experience to guide clients in design, architecture, and best practice. You may also get some exposure to presales activities as well, so the role offers a dynamic learning environment. While finance is the main area of focus for the technology, there are opportunities to work on broader domains and develop wider BI/ Analytics skills as well.

Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in EPM, ideally in consulting/ professional services, although end user backgrounds are also considered
• Proven aptitude to data modelling and application development, with exposure to at least one multi-dimensional modelling tool an advantage e.g. Anaplan, Cognos TM1, Tagetik, Hyperion, SAP BPC, OneStream, BOARD, Jedox, Adaptive Planning etc.
• Experience of designing high-quality reports, dashboards and graphical user interfaces with focus on creating a good user experience.
• Proven self-starter, adaptable to change in a fast-paced hyper-growth environment.
• A strong work ethic, thriving in a high-pressure situation with tight deadlines.
• Collaborative team player who establishes relationships with ease and communicates effectively with persons on all levels.
• Willingness to travel (when possible post-Covid)
