Location: Remote, Germany with business travel

Type: Permanent employment contract

Salary 70-80 fixed base +package

An International Technology company is looking for a Finance and Controlling Manager to join their team as Finance responsible for the German Business Unit.

Working with the international Finance team and senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for operational finance and controlling processes for Germany, and will focus on managing and improving core processes across Reporting, Controlling, Budgeting and FP&A.

Together with Finance colleagues, Tax Consultants and external accounting advisors, you will implement IFRS and lead controlling processes for finance operations to support the ongoing growth of the company.

This is a Dynamic role in a growing international company. Key tasks will involve:

• Lead the German finance team of 4 and take responsibility for Financial Controlling for the German Business Unit
• Manage and improve Finance and Reporting Systems
• Collaborating with external accountants and tax advisors to ensure compliance, as well as preparation and submission of Tax filings
• Overseeing Accounting (GL, AP, AR) teams and manage Planning and Budgeting processes
• Working with the international Finance team and CFO to develop and maintain local accounting and finance processes for Germany and provide a roadmap of improvement initiatives for continuous improvement

Your skills:

• Excellent Finance knowledge (HGB, German GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS)
• Experience as Inhouse Finance Manager or Controller
• Prior Teamlead or Management experience
• Experience improving Financial Systems and processes highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international, multi-cultural environment to partner with the business.
• Fluent German and English (essential)
