Do you have Finance Systems Business Analyst experience, and are you seeking a new job in London or South East? SystemsAccountants is helping a company recruit a Business Analyst for their finance systems team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately evaluating and translating complex business requirements to optimize and introduce new business processes, particularly related to finance systems. Therefore, a strong level of knowledge of finance processes and experience in business analysis activities is required.

Our client is offering hybrid working, with only one or two days a week required in the offices in London.

This role will require you to:

• Analyse finance business processes to create requirement documents and specifications in
  line with finance systems processes to meet reporting requirements
• Work with all global business areas to recognize the business needs and deliver high quality, effective technical solutions
• Report to the Finance Systems Projects Specialist
• Accurately evaluate and translate complex business requirements into design documents
  for presentation to the Finance Systems Reporting team
• Support in defining and planning UAT
• Producing process-flows, UML diagrams and application system specifications
• Become a trusted advisor to key stakeholders within the business

To apply for this role you need an in-depth knowledge of finance processes and previous experience in carrying out business analysis activities such as documentation, analysis, requirements gathering and gap analysis.

You’ll also need:

• Experience with Record to Report (R2R)
• Have proven experience in delivering an end-to-end implementation and optimisation of an ERP solution, such as SAP B1, SAP ByD, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Workday Financials, JDE, Oracle, Sage etc.
• The ability to proactively seek clarification as required and to create all documentation in a timely manner and to the highest possible standards
• Experience of working with finance systems or finance transformation in a similar BA role
• To be aware of and follow industry-best-practice when eliciting and specifying requirements for business change
• Knowledge of SAP Business One preferred
• Experience of business process modelling with UML desirable
• ISEB Business Analysis Certification (or equivalent)
• Experience in a creative or digital sector a plus
