Financial System Manager (Cloud ERP) – Berlin

A leading Final Client company in Germany is seeking a Financial Systems Manager for their new Cloud ERP solution Workday.

Sitting as part of the Finance Team, the Finance System Manager will work on the end-to-end implementation of the system and will own the ERP system post go-live. In this role, you will lead the optimisation and continuous improvement of the system and will deliver further ERP rollouts.

Role:

• Take ownership of the new Financial System and Cloud ERP – Workday
• Set up and deliver the project pipeline: you will lead and deliver ERP system enhancements including implementing new functionality and delivering rollouts to new entities internationally
• As the interface between Finance and IT, you will gather requirements and translate to functional specifications and improvements for the solution
• Get involved in development, implementation and optimisation of Workday ERP: Workday Financials & HCM
• Function as Inhouse Business Consultant for the ERP to analyse existing business processes and requirements, and deliver projects to improve and enhance the Finance System
• Identify best practice and deliver a first-class ERP solution
• Set up core finance processes and build and manage the Workday ERP team
• Get involved in a cutting-edge Cloud Financial System technology – Workday ERP

Your Profile:

• Experienced Financial System Manager or ERP Product Owner
• Strong understanding of German Finance requirements and international standards (GAAP, IFRS, HGB etc.)
• Strong prior ERP implementation experience for a Cloud Financial System (e.g. Workday ERP, SAP S4 Hana, Oracle Netsuite, Oracle Cloud ERP, Microsoft Dynamics AX, Business Central, Infor, Unit4 or similar)
• Desire to learn Workday ERP and drive best-practice through the initial implementation phase as well as Continuous improvement
• Knowledge of further solutions desirable e.g. EPM / CPM solutions SAP BPC, Tagetik, Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, Oracle HFM, Onestream or similar
• Experience in a fast-paced scaleup business
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
