SystemsAccountants has partnered with one of the world’s leading and most accomplished fashion houses as we search for an HR Project Manager

This is a contract opportunity, likely lasting 9-12 months. The role is hybrid, with the company’s office located in New Jersey.

Position Overview

The HR Project Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and executing various projects to standardize and strengthen HR practices across the company. Serving as a Digital Technologies resource responsible for supporting the HR shared services functional capabilities, focused on delivering business partnership, development, and deployment services for the team and its brands.

The position will be play a significant role in driving all HR work stream program initiatives targeting transformation.


  • Analyze and develop processes and capabilities which are aligned with functional and segment strategies, engaging stakeholder partnership
  • Partner with business stakeholders to collect and document process/program requirements for implementation and change requests
  • Build project plans, evaluating cost and resource needs, hosting meetings, building slide decks, and other tasks, as necessary.
  • Manage project plans and milestones, with consistent reporting of status updates and results management (including success metrics, and ongoing analytics) throughout project lifecycles
  • Ensure delivery of robust documentation and training to support initiatives and goals
  • Track and manage progress against project schedules (holding teams accountable for deliverables) and budget to ensure on-time, within budget delivery
  • Ensure project policy compliance: ensure systematic, appropriate reviews accordingly
  • Develop deep functional expertise – support the building of scalable and sustainable infrastructure for administration processing, reporting and analysis, defining and documenting standards and processes accordingly
  • Recommend/develop process and technology improvements and plays key supportive role in influencing technology strategy for the HR function

Basic/Preferred Qualifications

  • At least seven years of related work experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources or related field
  • Strong experience in project management and process improvement (including cross-functional teams and external advisors)
  • Excellent Powerpoint and Excel skills
  • Results-oriented with the persistence and patience necessary to work effectively with a variety of internal and external clients at all levels within the organization
  • Self-motivated professional with good judgment and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work well and remain flexible in an environment of constantly changing priorities and demanding deadline schedules
  • Proven skills in working through complex problem assessment and resolution as well as practicing collaborative problem-solving abilities
