IBM Planning Analytics/ TM1 Manager

My client has an urgent need for an experienced Cognos TM1/ IBM Planning Analytics Manager/ Senior Developer to join their expanding EPM and Analytics team. They have an increasing amount of work following some significant investment in global systems projects, leaving an exceptional opportunity for a specialist to help push forward their scope with emphasis on the data integration within the TM1 and Analytics landscape.

What will I be doing?

• Develop the IBM Planning Analytics solution according to the business needs
• Support the functional design of the application
• Design, develop, and monitor ETL processes to improve data integration
• Liaise with business teams and analysts for new data requirements
• Quality assure the development of external consultants and off shore development teams
• Identify new improvements within the solution
• Track new developments in the field including new technologies, products and methodologies to bring to the organization in the field of Financial Planning and Analytics
• Support the testing of changes and new versions

What profile will I need to have?

• Computer Science/ IT or related University degree
• 4+ years’ experience of Cognos TM1/ IBM Planning Analytics development experience
• Proven experience with TurboIntegrator and wider ETL tools in highly complex, international data platforms
• Strong SQL skills
• Must speak fluent English, with additional languages an advantage
• Must have a genuine interest and passion for Data
• Team player and open to change personality!
