Our repeat client is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle EPM solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of financial planning and budgeting processes to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that align with business needs. Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and develop Oracle EPM applications to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
- Build and maintain calculation scripts, business rules, forms, dashboards, and reports.
- Develop and manage data integration processes between EPM and other enterprise systems (ERP, Data Warehouses, etc.).
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical design documents.
- Optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
- Provide technical expertise during system upgrades, migrations, and patching.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of solutions with business objectives.
- Support security design, metadata management, and automation of recurring tasks.
- Create and maintain documentation, including system design, configuration, and user guides.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM or Hyperion Planning, HFM, or similar.
- Strong expertise in Groovy scripting, EPM Automate, and Smart View, Data management, data integration tools (FDMEE, Data Management, ODI, or similar) and metadata management and dimensional design.
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Experience with reporting tools such as Smart View, and Narrative Reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
