What is the background to the role and company?

Join a leading global brand who are well underway in a major Finance Transformation programme. The business years into a major change where they wished to centralize their business processes onto a Core Model, aiming to give greater transparency to data across the global and business units. Ultimately, this will result in greater competitive advantage, reduced costs, and hopefully increased profitability of the organization.

The company has opted to enable the Core Model change with a major ERP programme as well, implementing Workday Financials and Infor M3 for supply chain management in tandem. With the Core Model already defined the business has been rolling this out with the new ERP duo to all global regions.

During these roll outs, there has been a stark realization that the business requires extensive training and knowledge transfer on how to use the new ERP tools, as well as the core process. Hence, this role is key in helping ensure adoption of the new platform.

What will I be doing?

Support the deployment of the solution across the global business
Partner with the P2P Business Process Owner (BPO) and perform fit-gap analysis on target entity

Train local users on best practice on the tool and process, setup all configurations and data

Support partners to ensure all knowledge transfer is concluded prior to handing off to the internal support team

Identify data integration issues and align with partners and vendors to resolve quickly and efficiently

Support testing with users to ensure product is fit for purpose locally in each roll out

Advocate the Core Model across the business

  • Support ongoing improvements to business processes, configure the tools in line with Core Model guidance, P2P BPO, and support teams
  • Support evolution on entity level and country – Core Model fit gap analysis
  • Update process, documentation, training, systems config. for any changes and evolutions
  • Train all new staff and ensure they will have the right knowledge to engage with support team for ongoing support topics

What profile will I require?

  • University degree in Business, Computer Science, or other relevant subjects
  • 5+ years’ experience in a purchasing, P2P final client or consulting firm
  • Must have experience with Workday Financials or Infor M3 ER
  • Must have project experience rather than purely operational responsibilities
  • Ideally have a strong customer and user related focus, be someone who enjoys helping others to be more digitally enabled in their business tasks
  • Comfortable with uncertainty in a transformational environment
  • Must have fluent English
