SAP Business One Systems Analyst

Offering £40,000 to £50,000 per annum

Manchester (at least 2 days a week on-site required)

SystemsAccountants are working with a client based in the Manchester area are looking to bring on an SAP Business One specialist on a permanent and full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be joining a small IT team to assist with making their SAP Business One ERP more inhouse and reducing their dependency on the third party partner. They need someone who can be hands on with the ERP system, and who will deliver up to 1^st and 2^nd line support and implement project work.

Role responsibilities

• To work on SAP Business One, maintaining the system from a support and project perspective
• Troubleshooting SAP B1 queries, delivering 1^st and 2^nd line support
• Have responsibility for broader IT projects outside of SAP B1 and delivering extra IT support
• Delivering project work in SAP Business One, particularly in leading the upgrade from SAP B1 Version 9.3 to V. 10.0
• Educate and train end users of the SAP Business One software
• Lead UAT and ongoing upgrade work as required with the system
• Liaising with key stakeholders across the company to help define the internal roadmap for SAP Business One and other integrated systems
• Proactively identifying areas for improvement across the systems landscape
• Maintaining the integrity of the systems and their data, particularly financials

Role requirements

• At least two years of hands-on experience with SAP Business One
• Proficiency in SQL
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• General experience in IT roles
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• A proactive attitude and personable character
• Strong communication and client-management skills
• Expertise in gathering functional requirements and developing bespoke system solutions
• Experience implementing process improvements, integrations and automation
• Experience with Produmex WMS would be highly desirable
