S/4 HANA Finance Functional Lead

A current opportunity is available with an international business headquartered in Paris, with operations across the globe. As part of a current finance transformation programme, the business is streamlining all core finance processes; R2R, P2P, O2C, FP&A, Treasury, etc.

In line with the process change and transformation, the company has decided to select a new ERP for the group, which is SAP S/4 HANA in this instance. Working alongside their systems integrator and their internal transformation team, they are keen to bring in some outside expertise to support them with this journey, specifically, with the core model design in S/4 HANA.

What will I be doing?

Partner with the Business Process Owners (BPO) across all core processes, to help them rationalize their processes in SAP.

Engage stakeholders to see the value of S/4 HANA in the transformation process

Bridge the gap between the systems integrator and the client internal teams

Make recommendations on what to do and not do in terms of the core model design

Take a solution oriented approach to solving problems in the design process

Advise on who, how, where, when, and why with respect to core processes e.g. Chart of Account design

What profile and skills will I require?

• 10+ years of professional experience in finance transformation roles
• Must have experience in leading the design of the core model of S/4 HANA within an international group
• Must have a strong finance knowledge and understanding, ideally with R2R expertise
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
• Must have fluent English
• Must be open to on-site work in the Paris office as well as home office work
