Senior Manager – EPM and Digital Finance Transformation

Context of the role?

Join a leading global top-tier consulting partner as the Senior Manager of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) lead for the German practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong affinity for Oracle EPM/ Hyperion tools or OneStream, with a strong track record of delivering high profile, international projects within this Digital Finance Transformation space. It will suit those with a strong Solution Architect and Project Lead background, with experience leveraging offshore delivery teams for the technical delivery.

Due to an increasing project pipeline across Germany and Europe, the Partners of the firm are seeking high achievers with a consulting flair to join on the German office and build out the capability across the DACH.

With great partnerships with the likes of Oracle, OneStream, Anaplan and others, you will be able to work on a variety of technologies and get cross trained on these products if coming from the Oracle EPM space for example!

What will I be doing?

• Partner with clients to define their project needs, specifically around Consolidation, Reporting, FP&A and Controlling process
• Build innovative solutions using the EPM tools available and set the key deliverables for the delivery teams – be the Solution Architect
• Guide clients on process improvement and standardization
• Design new Target Operating Models (ToMs) and functional roadmaps for the business
• Engage CFOs to help establish their vision and pursue their Digital Finance Transformation journey
• Work with technical partners and consultants to ensure their delivery meets the right specifications
• Manage client stakeholder needs and requests, be the bridge between vendors and clients
• Train clients on best practice and provide guidance on best practice
• Mentor team members and ensure effective knowledge transfer
• Monitor project timelines and deadlines, delivering to project schedules and ensuring effective project communication
• Identify new projects within clients and propose new ideas to help formulate the client roadmap

What background skills might I require?

• University degree in Finance, Controlling, Business or Tech related fields
• At least 8 years of consulting experience in Big4 or related top tier consulting/ systems integrator firms delivering international projects
• Strong knowledge of Consolidation, FP&A and Controlling processes
• Confident communicator who can take clients on a journey
• Project management experience is an asset e.g. PMP
• Big picture thinking!
• Fluency in English and German
