Senior Workday Financials Analyst

Full Remote w/ some travel to East Coast HQ office

$130,000 – $150,000 + benefits

We are working with a publishing company currently going through a Workday Financials implementation. They are expanding their Workday Financials team internally and bringing on a Senior Workday Financials Analyst that will initially be focused heavily on Financials report writing. Once the implementation is completed in January 2023, this Senior Analyst will be involved in the technical support and maintenance, including validations and business processes. Additionally, once the platform goes live, there will be a tremendous opportunity to decide which technical aspects of Workday are preferred and choose which you’d like to work on.

Responsibilities

• Initially, main responsibility will be the design and creation of reports to support Go Live
• Post Go Live, responsibility will transition to daily support and maintenance of Workday Financials
• Manage FDM activities, including dimension changes, hierarchies, validation rules, and business processes
• Work closely with Finance/Technology teams, leading projects, enhancements, redesigns, etc.
• Create dashboards and calculated fields
• Support Financial system audits
• Identify process improvements
• Lead process improvements implementations

Basic Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on ERP software experience
• 2+ years’ experience working with Workday Financials
• Workday Financials reporting
• Familiarity w/ FP&A processes and accounting principles
• Experience performing complex functions in Excel
• Strong understanding of how ERP systems impact business functions
