Services Manager / Experienced Project Manager EPM/ Finance Systems Hong Kong & Greater China
Join a leading software firm as they expand their footprint into the HK and Greater China markets. You will support the growth as the key conduit between client, partners and the internal consulting team in HK.
The role will suit those with extensive project experience, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities. What will I be doing?
Lead and manage the services team (up to 5 pax)
Manage and achieve the Service Budget.
Handle project stake holders and business users in multiple project phases:
Managing stakeholder’s expectations
Organising and driving the design workshops
Doing hands-on product implementation
Conduct user training and UAT
Work as a team to drive for effective on time project deliverables.
Excellent Client interaction / build relation (with top Management) and handling key business users
Ensure timely updates to project health, risks, issues and solutions.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of proposals to customers together with members of the sales team.
Assist on the effort and cost estimation for the proposed solution (during the Pre-sales stage)
What skills profile and background will I require?
5+ years years of project experience, ideally in a consulting, professional services environment around Finance Systems projects
University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Information Systems ideally
Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship are mandatory and ability to turn ideas into action. It includes creativity, innovation as well as the ability to plan and manage projects in order to achieve objectives.
Good leadership skills to “Lead by example”. Work well with people with different personalities and encourage the best out of everyone.
Able to multi-task and being organised. Attention to details.
Ability to delegate the workload based on team member’s capability and capacity.
Through knowledge and independent preparation of project documentations including Project Plan, Requirement gathering, Solution Design document, UAT scripts, training material preparations.
Hands on experience in requirement gathering and end to end implementation of Enterprise Budgeting & Planning, Consolidation processes.
In depth knowledge in Financial Planning & Budgeting process of an Organization.
Sound understanding in Basic Accounting & Financial consolidation process.
Extensive knowledge of application and database administration tasks, specifically Database Trouble Shooting.
Added benefit if previous EPM hands on implementation/ Solution Architect experience
Ideally speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese
