Sr. Workday Report Writer / HRIS Analyst

$100,000 – $120,000 + bonus & benefits

Our client is a large media company looking to bring on a Senior Workday HRIS Analyst with a focus on report writing and maintenance. The company is getting ready to go-live with a few different modules with 1600 different reports. You will be joining a team with two existing Analysts also focused on configuration, business analysis, and report writing. Once the current modules go live (by early 2023), you will have the ability to decide whether to stay primarily dedicated to report writing and maintaining, or working more closely with the HRIS modules directly.


  • Work in an HCM support capacity, including system support and user support
  • Work closely with stakeholders and other HRIS Analysts to build and maintain reports (complex, matrix, advanced)
  • Hands-on configuration of HR, Benefits, and Payroll modules as needed including business processes
  • Act as Workday SME and be available to provide support and technical answers to non-technical teams
  • Develop Business Requirement Documents through requirements gathering and business analysis while communicating with various departments
  • Participate in the semi-annual Workday system update process, implementation of new functionality


  • 3+ years of experience in an HRIS Analyst role
  • 2+ years of Workday HRIS experience including system configuration and report writing
  • Specific hands-on experience with HR, Benefits and Payroll
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, formulas) including spreadsheet analysis proficiency
  • Experience summarizing and translating complex information from a variety of sources in an easy format that is audience appropriate
  • Experience with Prism/Adaptive tools is preferred
  • SQL or similar report writing skills preferred
