What is the role?

A global business is seeking a Functional Tagetik Administrator/ Consolidation and Reporting Systems Specialist with expertise in CCH Tagetik.

The role will play a key role in the group reporting team, enabling the business to report more effectively at the corporate level. In the role you will grow in the functional and technical support of the consolidation and reporting systems for all financial reporting systems users. In this role, you will focus on working with senior international business stakeholders to deliver accurate consolidation reports and ensure finance systems landscape is maintained, particularly around month end and annual closing cycles. To ensure the long-term success of the systems you will be involved with ongoing developments and projects on the reporting and associated systems including Finance BI and Analytics.

This position is an ideal role for an enthusiastic, and ambitious finance professional, who seeks to develop their functional and technical skills in financial reporting, consolidation processes and leading financial reporting systems. This is in addition to developing as a business analyst, working with senior management on key decision-making processes, project management during key systems changes, and developer when building changes. This role will afford the successful candidate great mentorship and access to senior finance professionals in order become the bridge between Finance and IT!

What will I be doing?

  • Support the monthly consolidation and closing process
  • Ensure the implementation of financial standards and to development of the group finance strategy
  • Support the finance user community with respect to the Tagetik and related reporting tools
  • Work closely with project teams for any upgrades, implementations related to the finance systems landscape
  • Carry out business analysis of improvements to processes and systems
  • Ensure timely execution of consolidation procedures and exercise financial control over financial reporting
  • Support the Reporting Manager with any ad hoc finance or finance systems related tasks
  • Configure Tagetik as required for change requests to increase performance and accuracy of reporting

What background and skills profile might I have?

  • A University degree, ideally in Finance, Business Administration, or IT
  • 3+ years’ experience working in a similar role either in-house or in a consultancy role
  • Ideally experience with an EPM tool / financial consolidation application, ideally Tagetik, but experience in, HFM, FCCS, SAP FC/ BFC, SAP BPC, OneStream, Lucanet, BOARD, Jedox, or related tools may be relevant as well
  • Any knowledge of SQL, VBA or related languages are an advantage
  • Knowledge of consolidation and group reporting is required, any additional financial reporting processes are an advantage
  • Strong verbal communication and an ability to speak within a highly international team
  • Further experience with BI and Analytics tools such as PowerBI, Qlik, Tableau is a significant advantage
  • Must be fluent in English
