SA are working exclusively with a global brand based in Hamburg to help add their Corporate Performance Management (CPM) lead. You will sit within the finance department, but take the lead in all technical and functional activities related to the CPM landscape within the group.
The business have been using CCH Tagetik for a number of years and have a good functional ownership of the solution but there is a need to add someone with a strong financial systems background, who can really drive forward some product improvements and projects.
The role will suit someone who views themselves as an internal consultant, who can partner with the business to create solutions and value through technology.
The role will require being based in Hamburg, but there are 8 days per month work from home each month as standard. Being a highly international role, this position will be English speaking. Additional languages like Spanish or German are a nice to have but not mandatory!
What will you do?
Manage the CCH Tagetik reporting solution both for day to day operations and projects
Collect new requirements for changes as requested by the business and refine them down into technical specifications
Challenge the business on new requirements and propose new areas of improvement related to Tagetik product features
Testing of system changes within the system
Document systems processes and provide training to key users
Develop a culture of continuous improvement for the financial systems team
Contribute to the broader information systems strategy beyond CPM into BI and Data Visualization
Identify and assist in implementing process improvement initiatives at group and local levels
Provide support and maintenance for the users, particularly around key reporting timelines throughout the year
Engage with, coordinate and challenge external consultants and software providers for key projects and systems changes
Support functional admins with developing their Financial Systems knowledge
What is the ideal candidate?
University degree, ideally in Finance, Business Administration or IT
Experience working with Tagetik, HFM, Lucanet, OneStream, SAP BPC or similar consolidation and reporting tools
Must have some skills with SQL, to build ETLs or manipulate data related to CPM
Strong Excel skills and ideally VBA knowledge
Strong understanding of financial processes and reporting
Strong verbal communication skills to tell stories about projects and solutions
Open minded to colleagues ideas and input
Capable of taking ownership of projects
English fluent – ideally Spanish or German is a nice to have!
