VP, Corporate Controller

SystemsAccountants has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Financial Controller to join a progressive and welcoming team. This full-time Financial Controller remote role comes with a generous salary and benefits package. You will direct all accounting activities across our 10+ business teams in the United States and Argentina, overseeing approximately 20 finance professionals.

You will take a hands-on approach to planning, implementing, managing, and controlling all accounting and financial reporting.

In your first few weeks and months in this Corporate Controller role, you can expect to:

• Be responsible for all aspects of month-end close activities and directly oversee all accounting functions across our locations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger, providing detailed analysis and commentary, while ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal policies
• Oversee consolidated financial systems and general ledger activities and the development of financial reports and analysis
• Act as a financial leader responsible for overseeing and implementing all financial control policies
• Establish, support, and develop an accounting team while driving efficiency and automation to keep up with the demands of a high-growth business.

The successful Financial Controller candidate will have experience with multi-unit accounting, intercompany transactions, compliance and financial reporting, and a solid background in financial controls and department operations. The successful candidate will possess a track record of advanced management and leadership competencies and experience building a corporate accounting department in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. You will be a change agent willing to establish a world-class accounting function with scalable processes and systems.
