Workday Financials Analyst

Remote – quarterly travel to HQ

$130,000 – $140,000 + bonus

We are partnered with an industry leading Utilities company that has had Workday Financials stood up for several years. They are looking to backfill a Workday Financials Analyst to join their team and be the sole Workday Financials SME across their team. You will work to support the various modules (GL, customers, AP, etc.) as well as configuring business processes, report writing, and mapping out future enhancements.

This position is a great opportunity to continue expanding your knowledge of the various Workday Financials modules while also taking an autonomous role within the team. You will have some help desk support, but ultimately you will be the sole Workday Financials Admin and Analyst.

This candidate must be vaccinated to travel to company HQ (quarterly) and will also be administered a pre-employment drug test as well as random drug screens during employment.

Responsibilities

• Sole technical Workday Financials SME to system owners, end users and Accounting/Finance
• System Admin for Workday Financials capabilities
• Technical and Business requirement gathering and defining for configurations/enhancements
• Security design/admin, Workday report writing and maintaining, business processes and validation rules
• Design and document Workday interface
• System design, modifications, and monitoring
• End user set-up
• Security maintenance and audits
• Work closely with Accounting/Finance team as well as vendor
• User training
• UAT for enhancements and upgrades

Requirements

• 3-4 years’ experience working hands on with Workday Financials
• Strong understanding and knowledge of Accounting and Finance processes
• Experience in services industry is preferred
• Understanding of how enterprise systems impact organizations – specifically finance and accounting
• Cross-functional communication experience
• Experience working directly with end-users
• Strength in working independently
