For 80 years Canon has been delivering leading edge imaging technologies to our customers across the world. Established in 1937, Canon has grown into a global company operating in a diverse range of markets, including Business Solutions, Consumer Imaging, Broadcast & Communications, Medical Systems and Industrial Products.
The purpose of the Sales & Business Planning project is to transform the CIG (Consumer Imaging Group) processes and systems to provide better visibility and control of the business and enable Canon to fulfill its strategy through a new culture of trust and empowerment.
The project deployed Oracle Demantra solution for commercial budgeting across EU18. The project is now focusing on finalising the design/build/test of the Demantra system using sprint/agile methodology and driving business transformation activities for investment management.
Due to the scale of business transformation involved, the project team needed additional resources to support validation (mainly in the design/build/test stream) and business transformation (change management, adoption, training, user support mainly in the business transformation steam).
- Assembled and deployed a successful team who delivered the change, testing, adoption and training.
- Canon managed to go live with Demantra rebates and promotions across 18 countries. The system is now being used by
400+ users and helping them manage +300MEUR of channel investments.
