Hyperion Systems Analyst

120,000 – 140,000 CAD + bonus

We are partnered with a market leading organization seeking a highly skilled and analytical Financial Systems Analyst to join our finance systems team! This role will focus on supporting and enhancing Oracle Hyperion Planning applications and associated tools, including HFM, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smart View. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining financial planning systems, supporting budget and forecast cycles, developing financial reports, and providing insights to stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Oracle Hyperion Planning applications and data integrations.
• Develop and optimize cubes to support complex financial modeling and reporting.
• Create and maintain reports in Financial Reporting Studio and Excel-based templates in Smart View.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to understand business requirements and implement system enhancements.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes through Hyperion applications.
• Troubleshoot system issues, resolve user-reported problems, and support month-end close activities.
• Conduct user training and create documentation for financial systems and reporting tools.
• Participate in system upgrades, patching, testing, and change management activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with Oracle Hyperion Planning, HFM, Financial Reporting Studio, and Smart View.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Hands-on experience with cube development, report building, and financial data analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel, with solid knowledge of Smart View integration and functionality.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
