SystemsAccountants are supporting a globally renowned IT business with their D365 landscape who are seeking a Finance Systems Manager to manage the SSC and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Management
- Manage technical aspects of consolidation processes using Prophix consolidation system
- Provide assurance that finance systems are fit for purpose and ensure best practice and controls
- Review Microsoft F&O configuration and suggest improvements for efficiency and consistency
- Oversee ERP implementation and maintenance across multiple locations
- Collaborate with local finance and IT teams to manage finance systems infrastructure
Team Leadership
- Manage up to 4 team members in a shared service environment
- Lead consolidation system processes and reporting activities
Consolidation System Tasks
- Manage processes in the consolidation system (Prophix)
- Design reports as required
- Maintain Chart of Accounts
- Manage consolidation journals and FX revaluations
- Enter exchange rates
- Set up data entry templates for budget and reforecasting
- Establish controls over reporting processes
- Set up intercompany reconciliation controls
ERP Systems Management
- Build governance over finance systems implementation and maintenance
- Work with local teams on new system implementations
- Manage finance systems infrastructure
Essential Requirements
- Work experience with consolidation systems
- Work experience with Microsoft 365 (F&O preferable)
- Good interpersonal skills
- Experience in managing people (shared service center experience preferable)
- Experience in working with finance functions
- IT knowledge and experience
- Finance and reporting knowledge
- Ability to interact with international teams and willingness to travel
