Title: Freelance Anaplan Solution Architect – DACH Consulting Partner (Contract)

Who is the company and what’s the context?

This freelance opportunity is with a boutique consulting firm and Anaplan implementation partner operating across the DACH region. Due to a surge in client demand, they are seeking an experienced freelance Anaplan Solution Architect to support project delivery across finance, sales, or supply chain planning workstreams.

What will I be doing?

You will act as the lead architect on client engagements, providing strategic and hands-on support to design and implement Anaplan models. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading Anaplan design sessions with client stakeholders
• Delivering robust, scalable models tailored to each client’s requirements
• Advising internal teams and clients on planning best practices and modelling techniques
• Supporting testing, go-live, and post-implementation refinement
• Optionally supporting sales and scoping activities, if available

What kind of skills and background will I need to have?

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Anaplan delivery, ideally as a Solution Architect or Lead Model Builder
• Strong experience in financial planning, supply chain planning, or sales operations
• Independent, proactive work style with excellent client communication skills
• Anaplan certification (Level 2 required; Solution Architect preferred)
• Ability to work in German is preferred; fluent English is a must
