Finance Technology Consultant – EPM / CPM
Location: Remote (with ad hoc office visits)
The Opportunity:
SystemsAccountants has partnered with a leading Business Digital Transformation Consultancy who are looking for an experienced EPM/CPM Consultant to join their growing practice. This role will be focused on the delivery of BOARD software for financial and enterprise planning & reporting.
What will I be doing?
· Design, develop, and implement solutions using Board (primarily) as well as other CPM platforms
· Business Process Optimisation: Analyse and enhance budgeting, forecasting, and reporting workflows.
· Partner with finance and business teams to enhance financial planningforecasting, and reporting processes
· Contribute to system optimisation and automation, ensuring best practices in data modelling and performance
· Provide technical expertise and user training to internal stakeholders
· Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
· Innovation: Contribute to the development of new Board-based tools and accelerators.
· Thought Leadership: Stay current on CPM trends and share insights with the team.
What skills do I need?
- 3 – 5 years experience with BOARD
- Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Experience in project management and client-facing roles.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bonus: Relevant certifications (e.g., CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
