Oracle Fusion ERP Support Specialist
Overview
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Support Specialist to provide comprehensive day-to-day support and assist with small development and enhancement projects. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operations across core finance modules—Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management (CM), General Ledger (GL), and Order Management (OM)—as well as managing integrations via Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Key Responsibilities
Business as Usual (BAU) Support
- Deliver 2nd and 3rd line application support for Oracle Fusion ERP, prioritising and resolving requests through the IT service management system.
- Investigate and resolve system errors, data inconsistencies, and user queries; escalate to Oracle support when necessary.
- Manage incidents and problems in line with ITIL best practices, ensuring timely resolution.
- Conduct root cause analyses and recommend practical solutions to prevent recurring issues.
- Monitor system performance, identify trends, and implement corrective measures to optimise operations.
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Oracle Fusion Modules Expertise
- Provide specialist support for core finance modules:
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Customer invoicing, collections, and credit management.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Supplier invoices, payment processing, and vendor management.
- Cash Management (CM): Cash flow tracking, bank reconciliations, and cash position management.
- General Ledger (GL): Journal entries, chart of accounts, and financial reporting.
- Order Management (OM): Order capture, pricing, configuration, and fulfilment processes.
- Configure and maintain Oracle Fusion applications to meet business requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring accurate financial operations.
Development & System Enhancements
- Lead small development projects and system improvements following change management protocols.
- Configure system changes to enhance business processes.
- Participate in quarterly Oracle Fusion updates, conduct impact analysis, and assist with regression testing.
- Develop and maintain custom reports using OTBI and BI reporting tools.
- Create and update technical documentation, user guides, and configuration manuals.
Integration Management
- Manage and maintain Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations across finance modules.
- Work with REST and SOAP APIs for seamless data integration.
- Support data mapping and data loads for integration requirements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integrations to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
User Support & Training
- Partner with business users to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on system functionalities.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge transfer on new system changes.
- Act as an internal subject matter expert on Oracle Fusion capabilities and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Oracle Fusion Applications certifications are highly desirable.
- Proven experience supporting Oracle ERP or similar enterprise applications, particularly in Finance modules.
- Hands-on expertise with AR, AP, GL, CM, and OM modules.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Integrator (OIC), including REST/SOAP APIs, data mapping, and integration processes.
- Strong SQL skills for reporting and data analysis.
- Experience with Oracle reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Publisher, and dashboards.
- Familiarity with tools like FBDI, ADFDI, HDL, and HSDL.
- Understanding of ITIL processes including incident, problem, and change management.
- Solid knowledge of Record-to-Report and Order-to-Cash processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in system configuration and data handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Project management experience for small-scale system enhancements and implementations.
