Senior Inhouse Consultant – CCH Tagetik (Product Owner Focus)

Who is the company and what is the context? Our client is a well-established international group headquartered in the Zurich area, operating across multiple sectors with a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, and digital transformation. As part of their continued investment in finance systems, they are expanding their internal capabilities and building out a dedicated Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Madrid.
To support this growth, they are seeking an experienced professional to take ownership of their CCH Tagetik platform, with a focus on system management and consolidation processes. This inhouse role offers the opportunity to shape and lead enhancements within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
What will you do?
- Take end-to-end ownership of the CCH Tagetik platform, ensuring alignment with business and reporting needs
- Lead system enhancements, particularly in statutory and management consolidation
- Collaborate with Group Accounting and Controlling to optimise workflows and reporting cycles
- Act as the go-to person for all consolidation-related matters within Tagetik
- Support internal users across departments and drive enablement and adoption
- Coordinate with internal IT and external partners for system upgrades and support
- Maintain documentation and contribute to audit readiness and compliance efforts
- Depending on experience, start directly as Product Owner or grow into the role over time
What profile and skills should you bring?
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with CCH Tagetik, ideally in consolidation and financial close
- Solid understanding of IFRS / HGB, group reporting, and intercompany eliminations
- Strong functional system knowledge; no deep programming skills required
- Structured, proactive working style with ownership mindset
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Fluent English required; other languages a plus
- Prior inhouse or consulting experience in finance systems is an advantage
