SunSystems Project Specialist

3 month contract

£350 per day outside IR35

London (hybrid)

SystemsAccountants are currently working on behalf of an Infor SunSystems end-user upgrading from SunSystems V6.3 to V6.4, and looking for a SunSystems specialist to assist with this project. This role will involve applying patches to the current SunSystems environment to ensure the system is stable during the upgrade, then leading the installation, configuration, and transition to the SunSystems 6.4 environment. This will also involve a phased migration from Q&A10 to Q&A11, configuring Q&A11 reporting to meet business requirements, redesigning and testing key financial reports whilst minimizing disruption to financial reporting cycles. This will be an essential role in ensuring the success of the migration to V6.4 and Q&A11, ensuring the new environment is secure, optimized and representing best practice.

• Candidates must have previous experience leading the migration of SunSystems 6.3 to 6.4.
• Candidate must be immediately available with the full right to work in the UK, and ability to commute to London.
• Knowledge of SQL and IIS essential
• Experience with the full data migration process – including data cleansing, mapping, and validation between the old and new versions
• Experience configuring Q&A11 to meet business requirements – including redesigning and testing key financial reports and data models.
• Experience providing training on new Q&A11 interfacing and functionalities, including managing user expectations
• Ability to coordinate with internal IT, finance stakeholders, and external software vendors
• Experience creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for the SunSystems and Q&A configurations, processes, and user administration.
