Netsuite Accountant – Bilanzbuchhalter, Germany
Join a fast-growing business in Germany as Netsuite Accountant. The company is implementing a new Cloud Financial System Oracle Netsuite and is looking for an experienced Accountant with knowledge of German Accounting and ideally also International Accounting regulations to join the team.
You will deliver core accounting and finance processes, will support continuous improvement for finance and the Financial System and will play an important role in the company's continued success.
You will be involved in the implementation of the new ERP solution, working together with the external ERP partner company and get involved in finance projects to set up and improve accounting and finance operations.
Your role:
Set up, maintain and deliver Accounting processes in line with German and international finance regulations (HGB, German GAAP, IFRS)
Day-to-day Accounting according to HGB or IFRS depending on entity to ensure finance compliance, overseeing Accounting Ledgers (GL, AP, AR), delivering month end and preparing financial statements / management reports
Accounting processes; collaborate with key stakeholders both internally and externally to implement and improve reliable and scalable finance processes
Support the implementation of Netsuite, the new Cloud ERP system from a finance and accounting perspective (you will work with the SI Partner company to gather requirements and deliver the system according to business requirements)
Support Reporting, Controlling, Management Accounting and other finance process areas
Your experience:
Accountant or Financial Accounting Manager with experience working in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of key finance processes and accounting regulations e.g. HGB, IFRS, German GAAP
Finance process improvement and transformation experience
Strong communication skills in German and English
Financial Systems implementation experience, Oracle Netsuite, MS Dynamics, Workday, Sage or similar eg: Microsoft Dynamics ERP, Oracle Cloud ERP, Infor M3, Unit4 etc
Location: Germany – Heidelberg / Mannheim area, or Frankfurt Rhein-Main Gebiet, Hybrid working possible
Type: Permanent Contract
