Our client is seeking an experienced EPBCS Consultant to provide hands-on functional and technical support across their Finance Planning environment. This role will be responsible for partnering closely with business stakeholders and finance users to improve planning processes, enhance existing EPBCS capabilities, and support ongoing operational needs.
As the organization matures, they plan to expand their EPM footprint into FCCS and ARCS, so experience or broad understanding of future-state architecture is highly advantageous!
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary EPBCS subject matter expert, supporting daily operations, troubleshooting, enhancements, and user requests.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business needs and translate requirements into EPBCS configurations and solutions.
- Support planning cycles including budget, forecast, monthly/quarterly reporting, and scenario modeling.
- Maintain and administer EPBCS artifacts including forms, metadata, business rules, data integrations, security, and workflows.
- Identify opportunities to optimize and streamline planning processes and model performance.
- Build and maintain documentation, training materials, and support guides for end users.
- Prepare the business for future expansion into FCCS/ARCS by ensuring design considerations align to future-state enterprise financial close and reconciliation needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, PMO, and system implementation partners when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS or PBCS in an admin, consultant, or solution support capacity.
- Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Experience building and maintaining EPBCS components including forms, calc scripts/business rules, metadata, and dashboards.
- Ability to work directly with business users to gather requirements and deliver practical, scalable solutions.
- Solid understanding of data integrations and data management processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage confidently with senior finance users and stakeholders.
