SystemsAccountants is partnering with a tech startup in San Mateo, CA to place an Accounting Manager. Our client just raised a substantial amount in Series B funding and are poised to become a multi-billion dollar opportunity – and their first priority is building an accounting team.

This will be their first accounting hire. You'd report directly to the Head of Finance, who will build a team around your skillset, and play a critical role in shaping the organization's accounting department. You'll also work closely with the C-Suite.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to get into the weeds and wear a lot of hats
• 2-3 years of experience at a SaaS company or similar preferred
• Experience dealing with external accounting firms, ideally transitioning accounting operations in-house
• CPA preferred
• Big Four accounting experience preferred
• NetSuite experience strongly preferred; otherwise, looking for experience participating in major ERP/finance transformation
