What is the role and company?
A fast-growing international group is looking to hire an EPM Manager – Lucanet to join their Group Accounting function. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Berlin or Munich, with an immediate start. The company is scaling rapidly, and with that growth comes increasing demands on financial reporting and performance management. This role is central to ensuring the Lucanet platform evolves to meet those needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ex-consultant with hands-on Lucanet implementation experience who is looking to move in-house and take ownership of a critical EPM platform. The role sits within Group Accounting but works closely with IT, acting as the key interface between finance and technology.
What will I be doing?
As the EPM Manager specialising in Lucanet, you will:
Platform Ownership: Take full ownership of the Lucanet platform, managing its configuration, development roadmap, and performance.
Project Delivery: Lead and support projects to scale and enhance the Lucanet system in line with the group’s rapid growth and evolving reporting needs.
Finance-IT Interface: Act as the bridge between Group Accounting and IT, translating business requirements into technical solutions and ensuring smooth collaboration.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting, consolidation, and planning processes using Lucanet.
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with finance teams across the group to understand reporting needs and deliver scalable, automated solutions.
Data & Integration: Support data integration efforts, ensuring Lucanet is effectively connected to source systems and BI platforms.
Training & Support: Provide training and support to finance users, promoting best practices and system adoption.
What profile will I require?
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in EPM or financial systems, with strong hands-on experience implementing and managing Lucanet.
Background: Ideally an ex-consultant with a background in finance, accounting, or controlling, combined with strong IT/system skills.
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of Lucanet configuration, data modelling, and reporting. Familiarity with databases and BI tools is a plus.
Finance Knowledge: Strong grasp of financial consolidation, reporting, and planning processes.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate between finance and IT.
Language: Fluent in English (German is a plus but not required).
Location: Based in Berlin or Munich, with on-site presence as required.
