A Global organisation are seeking a highly motivated individual that is passionate about Technology and Finance to join their dynamic and innovative organisation.The ideal candidate will have strong data and technical skills and previous experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase and/or similar EPM systems and associated technologies, and help them to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions for Finance.
Working with applications such as Hyperion, Oracle Cloud and full Microsoft stack, you will be:
* Collaborating with finance and tax teams to understand their needs and requirements for technology solutions.
* Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation and the application of best practice, and the implementation thereof.
* Maintaining, developing, and enhancing complex Planning and Essbase applications and associated processes to support financial planning and reporting and ensure they meet changing needs.
* Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in finance technology to ensure that the organization is using the most effective and efficient solutions.
* Testing and debugging application processes to ensure they function properly and meet user requirements.
* Ensure data and metadata accuracy and completeness across all associated finance applications.
* Troubleshoot complex issues with applications and work with end users and team members to resolve issues.
* Provide guidance and support to end users and other team members.
* Integrating technology solutions with other systems and applications used by the organization.
* Maintaining and updating applications to ensure they remain up-to-date and meet changing user needs.
* Providing technical support to finance teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues with technology solutions.
* Performing and monitoring the interfacing of data with other internal systems (including actual, budget and forecast roll forward processes).
Skillsets/ Experience required:
* Strong technical skills, with experience in financial systems and software – previous experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase, MS SQL, Control M, Power BI, Azure highly desirable
* Experienced with the support and enhancement of processes involved in the Finance function. Fundamental understanding of Financial Reporting, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting processes and functions. Along with Financial Consolidation and the month end close processes.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with great attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, highly collaborative nature
* Flexible and able to adjust to change in priorities in a highly dynamic environment.
* Ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
