As the Head of Treasury Systems, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of the treasury management systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of the treasury tech for the group, while also driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.

The role will be a new position in IT, so you will have a challenge in setting up this new team from scratch and introduce new governance and strategy around the Treasury Management Systems (TMS) tech solutions.

What will I be doing?

• Lead the development and implementation of treasury systems strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
• Develop a team of skilled professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Oversee the selection, customization, and integration of treasury management software, optimizing functionality and performance to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, and risk management, to drive process improvements and enhance system capabilities.
• Provide strategic guidance on treasury technology investments, balancing short-term needs with long-term goals and scalability.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in treasury management, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on treasury systems, providing guidance and support to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Managing budget related to TMS and associated consulting services.

What skills and experience will I need for this role?

• 8+ years of professional experience in the TMS field.
• University degree in finance, computer science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in treasury management systems, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical proficiency in treasury systems software, such as Finastra Fusion KTP, Diaposon, Kyriba, etc. with the ability to drive system configurations and integrations.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions and drive innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Fluency in French and English.
