IT Business Applications Director
A large international company is looking for a Business Applications Director to join their team and lead and deliver a portfolio of improvement projects for IT Systems and Business Applications.
This global business is growing quickly and is looking for an experienced Director to lead the Business Systems Landscape and create scaleable solutions.
In this role, you will lead a portfolio of projects to rationalise systems and processes across international entities and drive a best-of-breed Enterprise applications approach. You will manage and build the Business Systems department and will build scaleable solutions to enable continued business growth. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will develop and drive the ongoing IT strategy for Financial Systems and Enterprise applications.
Ideal candidate:
- 10+ years' experience in Business Systems or IT Finance Applications, including in a Senior Management role
- Strong business process and commercial understanding to translate business growth strategy into IT Systems strategy and drive delivery at all levels of the organisation
- Prior experience in a fast-growth scale-up organisation, ideally in the Technology industry
- Change Management and Stakeholder engagement skills – not afraid to get hands-on to win the hearts and minds of your team and End-Users across the business
- ERP expertise and Business Transformation experience, e.g. Greenfield ERP Implementations, Finance Digitalisation programmes, ERP upgrades or improvement initiatives, or international Finance System rollout experience with experience of SAP and Oracle applications (e.g. Oracle Fusion, EBS, Netsuite) or similar
- Supply Chain sector or Manufacturing industry experience
This is a senior leadership position and will suit a Business Systems Transformation Director, IT Director or CIO with very strong people management skills, commercial knowledge and ability to engage with senior stakeholders and manage a portfolio of Business Applications Transformation programmes.
