Management Accountant (SAP Business ByDesign Super-User)

9-month Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Cover

London (hybrid, 3 days a week in the office)

£50,000 to £60,000 per annum

SystemsAccountants are currently working on behalf of our client to source a Systems/Management Accountant to join their Finance team and assist with the support of their SAP ByDesign ERP on an interim basis, starting from next month.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage the SAP ByDesign ERP system, maintaining the integrity of the system
  • Run weekly sales reporting and other ad hoc report creation
  • Perform monthly closing based on local reporting standards.
  • Manage intercompany relations, reconciliations and run banking and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Audit Preparation and Internal controls.
  • Supervision of Accruals/prepayments, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Improve and change internal and financial controls and processes.
  • Assisting with the monthly Management Accounts preparation and presentation, including AP/AR reporting, expenditure analysis and investigation, FX reconciliations and reporting.
  • Developments of new reports using Excel, Power BI and SAP
  • Delivering training in elements of SAP Business ByDesign
  • Answering queries related to SAP

Role Requirements:

  • Accountancy qualification (full or part qualified) including ACCA, ACA, AAT or CIMA
  • Proven experience in a similar role as a Systems or Management Accountant in a small finance team
  • Strong knowledge of functional accounting with solid experience in month end duties
  • Experience working with SAP Business ByDesign
  • Double entry bookkeeping skills
  • Skills in MS Excel (including pivot tables and V-Lookup)
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • Knowledge of local statutory compliance preferred
  • Ideally 10+ years of work experience
