Responsibilities:

  • Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard costs, variance analysis, and cost of goods sold calculations.
  • Manage manufacturing accounting functions, ensuring accurate recording of production costs and inventory valuation.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for products and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting of manufacturing costs and inventory balances.
  • Conduct regular reviews of inventory controls and implement improvements as needed.
  • Utilize NetSuite to manage Bill of Materials, Formula Management, Item Master, and Unit of Measure (UOM) conversions.
  • Perform BOM costed inquiries to analyze cost structures and identify areas for cost savings.
  • Generate reports to provide insights into manufacturing performance, inventory levels, and cost variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in manufacturing, cost accounting, and inventory controls.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system.
  • Experience with Bill of Materials management, Formula Management, and Inventory Management within NetSuite.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
