Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Master Cost Sheets, adjusting standard costs as needed to ensure accuracy for all active Raw Materials, Intermediate items, and Finished Goods.
- Conduct cost estimations for new products or potential modifications to existing products as necessary.
- Scrutinize manufactured product costs for any inconsistencies, examining manufacturing variances and identifying potential issues in routings or bills of materials.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the work order system, including the analysis and closure of commercial and R&D work orders promptly. Proficiency in work order costing principles is essential.
- Maintain up-to-date work orders and collaborate closely with production to address any discrepancies that arise.
- Safeguard the accuracy of standard costs and item attributes influencing costing or standard accounting processes.
Job Requirements
- Possess over 5+ years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
- Exhibit mastery in NetSuite Cost Accounting & Manufacturing
- Capable of meeting both scheduled and ad-hoc project deadlines effectively.
- Showcase robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Adaptability to grasp and apply new concepts accurately within a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Skilled in simplifying complex subjects for non-technical audiences through written and verbal communication.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills coupled with a customer service-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Hold legal authorization to work in the US.
