Pre-Sales Consultant – Cognos Planning Analytics
£60,000 – £90,000 DOE | Remote (with occasional client travel)
Are you a seasoned TM1/Planning Analytics Developer ready to step out of the back office and into a client-facing role? This is your chance to pivot into pre-sales while still leveraging your deep technical expertise.
We’re looking for a confident, commercially aware Pre-Sales Consultant with at least 5 years of hands-on TM1 development experience to work with a market leading Consultancy. You’ll be the bridge between technical capability and business value—helping clients understand, visualise, and believe in the power of Planning Analytics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partnering with sales teams to deliver compelling demos and proof of concepts.
- Translating client needs into tailored Planning Analytics solutions.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and guiding them through the decision-making process.
- Supporting account management and post-sales handovers with clarity and confidence.
- Acting as a trusted advisor—bringing insight, credibility, and technical depth to every conversation.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of TM1/Planning Analytics development experience.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- A consultative mindset with the ability to simplify complex solutions.
- Experience creating PoCs and working closely with sales or account teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and a customer-first approach.
- Bonus: experience with Cognos Analytics, PAW, or other BI tools.
