Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial plans in partnership with key business functions.
- Analyze financial performance, identify key trends and drivers, and provide variance analysis with insightful commentary.
- Partner with business units (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain) to develop and track KPIs, product margins, pricing strategies, and promotional ROI.
- Prepare and present monthly reporting packages to senior leadership, including P&L analysis, balance sheet trends, and cash flow insights.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, scenario planning, and business cases.
- Support earnings preparation, board decks, and investor-related financial analysis.
- Continuously improve financial processes, reporting tools, and data integrity.
- Collaborate with accounting, supply chain finance, and commercial finance teams to ensure accurate data and alignment across departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA a plus.
- 4–6+ years of experience in financial analysis or FP&A, preferably within a consumer products, retail, or manufacturing company.
- Experience in a public company environment, with strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and SEC requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, OneStream, Hyperion, Adaptive Insights, SAP BPC).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to leadership.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Exposure to inventory, cost of goods sold, and gross margin analysis.
- Knowledge of trade spend, channel mix, and retail/customer-level profitability is a plus.
- Experience supporting commercial, supply chain, or marketing teams in a finance capacity.
