We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst specializing in Workday Financials to lead the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimization of our financial technology systems. This individual will ensure data accuracy, streamline workflows, and support finance-related process improvements. This role will collaborate closely with Finance, Technology, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system operations and to identify opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness in financial management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the Workday Financials platform, including upgrades and system patches
- Configure and continuously improve financial system components, especially those within the FDM (Financial Data Model) and FIN modules, to meet changing business needs
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards
- Act as a technical advisor and resource to finance end-users, supporting troubleshooting efforts and enabling self-sufficiency through training and documentation
- Manage and maintain thorough process documentation, training materials, and system user guides
- Liaise with internal departments and external partners to identify, develop, and deploy new features or modules within the Workday Financials ecosystem
- Monitor performance, address technical issues, and identify opportunities for innovation or system refinement
- Stay informed of industry best practices, technology trends, and updates within the Workday platform to inform future strategic decisions
Required Background & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including configuration and implementation work
- Demonstrated expertise with FDM and FIN modules
- Strong understanding of financial workflows, accounting principles, and ERP system functionality
- Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and supporting financial systems at an enterprise level
- Proficiency in managing data migrations and ensuring data integrity

- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Lookups), PowerPoint, and Teams
