What is the context and company?

This is a contract opportunity with a major multinational organisation undergoing a significant finance and tax transformation. The role is embedded within a large-scale programme led by a global consulting firm, focused on modernising the enterprise’s tax reporting and compliance capabilities. The transformation leverages Oracle’s EPM Cloud suite, with a particular focus on the Tax Reporting Cloud Service (TRCS) module. The programme is high-profile, fast-paced, and strategically important to the business.

What will I be doing?

As the Oracle TRCS Programme Lead, you will:

• Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of the TRCS workstream within a broader EPM transformation.
• Lead a cross-functional team of consultants, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure successful implementation.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all TRCS-related activities, including planning, design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Provide functional leadership and subject matter expertise in tax reporting, provisioning, and compliance processes.
• Collaborate closely with finance, tax, and IT teams to align business requirements with Oracle EPM Cloud capabilities.
• Manage risks, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring the programme stays on track and delivers measurable value.
• Support change management and user adoption activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the new solution.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic oversight and detailed functional knowledge.

What skills and profile will I need?

We’re looking for someone with:

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in finance transformation, with a strong focus on tax and EPM systems.
• Proven delivery experience with Oracle TRCS and the broader Oracle EPM Cloud suite.
• Deep functional understanding of tax reporting, provisioning, and compliance processes in large organisations.
• Strong programme and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Experience working in or with large multinational organisations and/or consulting firms.
• Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive, delivery-focused mindset with a commitment to quality and collaboration.
