SystemsAccountants' Workday Practice are supporting an exciting, PE backed Media firm to hire a Workday Financials Lead.

This role will play a key part in the Business Systems team, being the lead for all things related to Workday Financials globally. Reporting into the Head of Business Systems with a dotted line into the Group FD, you and your team will be responsible for maintaining, optimising and supporting Workday Financials for the business. You will also play a key part in any strategic decisions around bringing in extra functionality within the Workday Financials tenant.

About the role:

  • Responsible for the support, maintenance and ongoing development of Workday Financials
  • Manage the Workday FINS team (1x Analyst), ensuring all 1st and 2nd line support tickets are resolved in a timely manner
  • Work with Senior Stakeholders across Finance, HR and IT to build and deliver on a roadmap for Workday enhancements
  • Ensure best practices are used for Workday across the global business

About you:

  • Over 5 years experience working with Workday, ideally in a lead role
  • Excellent technical understanding of Workday Financials
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Exceptional communication skills / stakeholder management
  • Strong Finance understanding (ideally PQ / FQ Accountant)
  • Able to commute to a Central London office x2 days per week.
